Should be used on any home A/C system that has leaked below 15 psi (running or not running) OR if the system has ever leaked in the past below 15 psi. If you do not wish to use Pro Dry Plus, the system must be vacuumed prior to installing Pro Seal Plus. *When put into an A/C system that has moisture or air, Pro Dry Plus mixes with the moisture and air in system forming a synthetic oil which then mixes with the oil in the system.
Why do I need to use the Pro Dry product in my system?
Pro Dry is designed to transfer any moisture in your system to oil. By eliminating moisture in the system corrosion of components and acid formation are suppressed. Removal of moisture also results in lower temperatures from the vent by stopping freeze-ups. Reduced head pressure and less energy usage when operating unit are other benefits of ProDry.
Will Pro Dry damage recovery units?
NO! Pro Dry will separate with the oil during the reclaiming process.
